After the release of SSC and equivalent exam results the HSC admission circular 2025 has been published. Also the admission process for class 11 is starting. Online admission application has started from 26th May 2024. This process will continue till June 11. This time the application will be taken in three stages. The Ministry of Education has released the admission policy for Class XI in the academic year 2024-25. The maximum admission fee in the college has been fixed.
The online admission is done centrally with the technical support of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology under the Dhaka Education Board. As before, there will be no selection test for class XI admission. Students will be admitted on the basis of SSC and equivalent results. However, some institutions including Notre Dame College of Dhaka admit students like themselves.

About HSC Admission
Twenty lakh thirteen thousand five hundred applicants took the SSC and related exams offered by eleven education boards. 16,72,153 of them were successful. Approximately 25 lakh seats are up for grabs in Class XI across the nation. Even if all the students are admitted, more than 8 lakh seats will remain vacant in class 11 this time. Therefore, even if the results are good this time, many colleges will face a crisis of students.
According to the 11th class admission policy published by the Ministry of Education, this year, the 11th class admission application process will continue on the designated website online. Manual admission application will not be taken from general students except online. Students have to give preference to minimum 5 and maximum 10 colleges by paying application fee of Tk 150. Out of the number of colleges a student applies for, the admission position will be decided in only one college based on his merit, quota and preference.

There will be three merit lists released in total. The merit list will be made public together with two migration results. Final admittance will begin on July 15, 2024, following the conclusion of all phases. The deadline for applications is July 25, 2024. Beginning on July 30, 2024, class XI will be taught in the 2024–25 academic year.

Note: You will see the name, group, and additional information of the college you have applied to. You must verify admittance if you wish to be granted migration facilities. Additionally, your nomination will be canceled and you won’t be taken into consideration for migration if you don’t confirm your admittance. If so, you must reapply at the following stage. But if you are not selected for admission in any college, then you don’t need to apply again. You’ll be taken into account for the upcoming merit list.

HSC Admission Circular 2025
The Ministry of Education has published the circular 2024 regarding the admission policy for the 11th class in the academic year 2024-25, this policy was decided in a meeting. The official 11th class admission notification 2024-2025 is published on May 15, Wednesday at 10 am. This time again, after the admission process through a total of 3 steps, the 11th class will start on July 30. The online application process for class XI admission will start from May 26 and will continue till June 11.

Available Seats for HSC Admission 2025
93% of the total vacant seats will be considered as merit quota for class XI admission. These vacant seats will be avail for all. Of the remaining 7%, 5% will be reserved for the children of heroic freedom fighters as before.
Of the remaining 2%, 1% is reserved for the children of the Ministry of Education and 1% for the children of the officers and employees working in the agencies under the Ministry. As before, if there are no students in these seats, it will be considered in merit quota. In case of quota, if the number of applicants is more, the list will be based on merit.

HSC Admission Circular Eligibility and Points 2024 – 2025
Note that different colleges have varied requirements for admission eligibility and points for admission to various departments. Below are the details of 2024-25 eligibility for 11th class college admission, how many points will be required in which college.
- Bengali and English medium students of science department should have GPA-5;
- English medium science students can only apply in the English version;
- Business Education students must have a GPA of 4.5;
- Humanities students must have a GPA of 4;
HSC Admission Form
Class XI admission form can be filled through website xiclassadmission.gov.bd. The application has to be completed in two steps. Below are the steps to apply:
- Application fee has to be paid at the beginning of application. Initial application fee is 150 tk.
- Visit the website xiclassadmission.gov.bd.
- Click on “Apply Now” button.
- Give details of your SSC or equivalent examination.
- In the next step provide your mobile number and quota information.
- Provide your college choice
- View the preview
- Submit if preferences and other details are correct.
A student can give maximum 10 college choices for online application. Minimum choice should be 5. Must be selected for each preferred group and version. Also if there is quota, its details, active mobile number of student or parent should be given.
If your application is submitted correctly, you will receive a confirmation SMS with a PIN/security code on your provided mobile number. Also later you can modify, add or change preferences by logging in with your SSC and equivalent details and OTP. You can change your choice up to 5 times before the deadline.
